Should talent shows for children be banned?

The moment one switches on his Television set,he has to choose between serials or reality shows. Reality shows are dime a dozen on TV today. From adults to children to family, reality shows have covered them all. Though talent shows have scouted for the best talent in India and aboard , they are degrading in quality as the fight for TRP goes on.
The harsh criticism of the judges and the pressure has even made the adults to break down .So how can we expect children to go through such pressure and criticism? Therefore it comes as no surprise that recently a child(Shijini Gupta) participating in a TV show was so traumatized by the criticism of the judges that she had to be hospitalized and she even had to face temporary paralysis. It is difficult to accept criticism which is constructive at best. Most of us cannot even accept that. The solution is surely not banning children talent shows as they provide a platform for nurturing talent .
A child's real interest can be known through talent shows and given proper training ,a child can grow up to become a master in his talent. Examples of child prodigies who had praticipated in talent shows and have now become a star are Sunidhi Chauhan,Shreya Ghoshal,Kunal Ganjawala and even hosts of talent shows like Sonu nigam and Shaan have become accomplished singers . The reach of talent shows is huge and can do wonders for one's career.
The talent shows for children should keep in mind several things as they are dealing with children. The children should be given suggestions for improvement in a subtle manner. They should be reminded that winning or losing is a part of the game but one should enrich themselves from the experiences .
The most tormenting part of the talent shows is the elimination part, one should take care of the way one is announcing the results. The public votes and the judges scores should be given equal weightage at least till the semi finals . Workshops on dealing with stress and pressure should be conducted for the parents and their children.
With care and encouragement, these talent shows can teach children the way in which one can nurture one's talent yet preserve one's humility. Talent shows should take care that another Shinjini case should not occur . Constructive criticism, encouragement and no TRP gaining stunts should be done in order to make talent shows a stepping stone to success in one's talent.

ye re ye Pawsa!!!!

Less than 5o% of average rainfall till 10 Th July.
in Maharashtra almost 80 % agriculture depends on rain and also hydroelectricity so that means more power cuts.
this tells us why nuke deal is so imp for domestic purposes or we can concentrate how to use thorium as our country has vast deposits . life doesn't stop ,there r alternatives.
people discuss that India will become a superpower one day but hows that possible when merit is not taken into consideration almost 50% reservation. people fighting to acknowledged as backward phew.
politicians who just see their interests and use quota politics to solicit votes. Reservation is not reaching the right audience, the richer sections are benefiting while poorer sections r becoming more backward and the
quality of work is very poor.
We have an eminent economist as our prime minister who introduced the new economic policy but
India now wants a leader who can connect with people ,who can inspire the youth ,who can face problems with a smiling face, ask for help if he cant do it .
and it is in the hands of us ,the citizen ,do something in our own little possible way,to contribute to india's growth
