This was the first blog that i started.Though I was not consistent in maintaining it and i started a new blog https://ketakimehta.wordpress.com/.

I am thinking of reviving this blog again with a post every month. So I will post on both my blogs.
Maybe later I shall make these two blogs have a separate theme.

Food is a way to happiness

Sometimes I feel good food is nirvana. Isn't it?
Whenever I feel happy , i want to have good food. Whenever I feel sad,i want to  have good food.
Nowadays I visit Zomato a lot. Maybe it is not even for the restaurants to be visited , i feel it is relaxation of eyes and my soul     :P

#2 happy day

Life is a mystery

When you start to think that my life is about stabilize, life throws you some challenge .
It's typical for the human to feel dejected. But one should feel energized by the challenges.
At this time, one should look around;People who have more difficulties in their lives than us.
We should feel thankful to God for every little thing he gives us.

My life..........from Infosys to SIOM

It has been 3 months since I left Infy. I feel like going back and travelling back to this current moment. After a wonderful journey in infosys , i came to SIOM on 9th June 2011. The college had already begun and people were attending senior's SIP presentations . Chetana , being with me since the GD rounds, was the first person i met when i arrived at SIOM. How can i forget bubbly Elli who was with chetana.
I entered my room 304 :) with my roomies inside welcoming me with smiles :):).
Then i met DB , active member of SIOM 2011-13 facebook group, who asked me to guess people names who were on fb . I recognized Arunima :) who resembled my friend Shelley .
Then came Aarambh--our foundation day, people gelled with each other so well .
Then the fantastic industrial trip to Lear Automotive which introduced us to the concept of JIT. SIOM rocks for all the practical learning that it gives us .
Then came our Outbound Learning program , management lessons through games in nature. Blind trekking through valleys, army games , WOW!!!!!!!!!

Then started the hectic schedule of yoga, gym, aerobics, lectures, assignments, exams, committee work phewwwwwwwwwwwwwwww
I love this life !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am so happy to be a part of SIOM.

Mysore Training

After a long wait , finally the day arrived when I became an 'Infoscion' . I was in awe of Mysore Campus. We were taken to our hostel rooms which were at the other end of the campus.Hostel rooms were like hotel room for sure :) . I bid adieu to my parents and I entered into a new life .
For a while , I often lost my way when I walked from the hostel to the training center .
I met so many people in my training from Hyderabad,Bhilai,Tamil Nadu,Bangalore,Delhi,Agra etc.
I liked the methodology of training first theory and then practicals everyday . Plus the breaks were so great , spent at Gazebo and fc2. I even rode a bicycle after 10 yrs . I also fell down badly once.
I even learned Salsa :). I became a fan of Goldminer :) during the lunch breaks and boring lects .
Each birthday was spent with such pomp and fun that we used to look forward to bdays.
Even the trips to different hotels for treats was such fun . I loved the city 'Mysore' though it didn't have big malls,it had great transport and safe environment for girls.
I made some friends for life here ......
6 months of study,gec,food courts,maggi, coffee,friends,birthdays,shopping,gazebo....................................

Long Time.........

It's been long since I have stopped blogging. Life has changed so much in 2 yrs.
I have grown as an individual . I have met some fabulous people during this journey.
I have learned so much . Mysore Campus life was so awesome . It was like one mixture of people from all over India . 6 months of one more college life then came Pune Campus , where I was exposed to Corporate World and office politics and work load phewwwwwwww
But I got used to all of that thanks to awesome support system of my mom, friends .....
I promise that I will continue blogging and never abandon my lovely blog .......

The new 'ME'

First i used to take my college for granted, now i realize how much i miss it. But after some much needed introspection, i realize i can do whatever i like till Jan 17 2010. I always felt that i wanted to do some social work ,interact with people other than my field and grow as a person . Its definately true that if one wants to grow quickly as in spiritually ,one can do that if he learns from others experience. I am currrently teaching conversational english to visually impaired and blind students . First i felt i would feel sympathy for them. But now i feel they are just like one of us just that they need help which all of us need at some point in out life. I was a self-centered person till i interacted with them. Some of my students are very sharp and assiduous . We all have had someone help us in little ways in our life ,we have to return this help to someone more needy than us . Donations are also one necessity but you have to involved in that organization ,just giving money wont do. I pray to God to give me strength to continue helping others and help me in making everyone realize that i am not doing anything great but something necessary to do ,something that gives me satisfaction.
